In the wedding world, Valentine’s Day is a bit like Christmas morning for us. A day dedicated to all things LOVE gives us more than one reason to pull out all the stops to celebrate. This red rose filled wedding day is just one way to kick off the romance. It’s complete red rose floral bliss for us, thanks to Flowers by Cina and planner Laurie Davis, Five Star Weddings. Thousands of roses not only take center stage at the ceremony, but fill the reception and add extra eye candy with a touch of sparkle to the bridal bouquet. Seriously, Katie is already radiate with her warm smile and Casablanca gown – but that bouquet! Then there’s the way Andrew gazes at his bride in every romantic shot captured by KJ Photography. It’s enough to make hearts melt. Every bride should have the man of her dreams looking at her with complete adoration on her wedding day and far beyond just like this. Groom’s take note!
Red Rose Filled Wedding Day
Katie and Andrew’s storybook wedding took place at the charming and historic Serra Plaza in San Juan Capistrano, California. Trust us, this is no cookie-cutter wedding day. The ceremony was held in the courtyard with the venue’s bubbling fountain decked out with cascading roses and crystals. With dozens of varying candles lining her walk down the aisle, Katie stepped onto a cloud of white floral petals. Making the day even more notable, was Andrew’s brother who was their officiant. The stately beauty of the Grand Plaza was a blank canvas in which Laurie Davis created one glam party for the reception. The Spanish courtyard was magically lit with Edison lights and chandeliers casting a golden glow against the sequin La Tavola linens and Signature Rentals metallic chairs. Katie and Andrew’s A Wish and Whisk cake is also one for the books. A five-tier masterpiece with a golden story outlining their journey together marking significant dates for the couple. We warned you about this absolute swoon worthy day! It’s simply prettiness galore.
