When you see this chic wedding at Haiku Mill in Maui, Hawaii, you are going to want to start planning your own special day in paradise. This gorgeous display of natural Hawaiian landscape and trendy wedding décor demonstrates how blending old and new can bring form to a breathtaking experience that anyone would be inspired by. Thanks to the coordination efforts of event planner Lindsay Miller and the stunning displays of native blossoms and beadwork put together by Mandy Grace Floral & Event Design, photographer Chris J. Evans was able to capture this day with a remarkably gorgeous backdrop that this bride and groom will never forget.
Timeless & Chic Wedding
Our bride’s dress was from Pronovias Barcelona, purchased at Casablanca in Oahu, Hawaii-definitely “the one”. She wore a pearl jewelry set from her father, which was bought in Japan. The groom’s impressive 3-piece suit is timeless with night-lit fabric and its navy bow tie. The bridesmaids J. Crew dresses in dusty shale were various styles to fit the wearers, adding another personal touch that gave the entire wedding party a chic look.
This sweet couple envisioned their wedding theme to have both chic and vintage elements. They ordered small props for signs, menus, and name tags to add personal and fun touches throughout the venue. The props and décor were given a vintage look uniform with their color palette: gold, dusty shale turquoise and white. What a breathtaking combination! Among the old structures draped in overgrown flowers and greenery, the white and gold elements popped, and this contrast resulted in an ageless display that we can’t get enough of.
