Katie: We met now anyone else meets these days... dating app! Although, we met on a lesser-known app called Coffee Meets Bagel (not a swiping app!). Our connection grew over time as we got to know each other; it felt organic.
Katie: “I never wanted to plan a big wedding. So I started planning a backyard wedding. But then—I realized I was STILL planning a wedding. And I did NOT want to plan a wedding at all. So to make it as simple as possible, we decided to say ‘I do’ at the courthouse.”
Katie + Anand met with 8 of their family members downtown to read the sweetest vows, promising to be there for each other as they journey though life continued together.
What made their day their own: a first look, handwritten vows, a rose petal exit, a private dinner at a local restaurant.
