At Strictly Weddings, we can think of a million reasons why we love New York, but nothing steals our heart more than a quintessential big city wedding — especially one with glorious blooming branches in one of NYC’s most exclusive venues. Bright lights, cityscapes, and iconic buildings like Grand Central Station formed the backdrop for our partner, Brett Matthews Photography, who beautifully captured each moment of Francesca and Cliff’s special day. Both raised on Long Island, Francesca and Cliff traveled all the way to Tel Aviv to meet and fall in love, but held their posh celebration right in the heart of Manhattan at Cipriani, 42nd street, a New York landmark and one of the go-to luxury venues for the urban sophisticate.
New York is a fashion town and we’d be remiss not to talk about style. The ladies were the epitome of feminine grace donning Amsale gowns in sophisticated light grey kissed with taupe; a shade perfectly on point with 2015 trends. The bride stunned in her timelessly elegant gown by Carolina Herrera. The dress evokes definite red carpet intrigue–there’s a feel of classic Hollywood glamour and a touch of modern flair, with intricate embroidery and finely tailored appliqués. The wedding party said that photos in Grand Central Station made them feel like celebrities. We believe it!
