If there is one thing we know for certain about a glamorous Southwest Florida wedding, is they tend to leave us speechless when they include couple portraits as sunset. When you throw in a breathtaking venue like the historical Ringling Museum of Art's Ca D'zan on the terrace overlooking the Bayfront, we become a blubbering mess of adjectives. Lovely does not even begin to describe Blaire and Brandon's day of perfection. In fact, we aren't sure there is a single adjective that will do it justice. Let's just begin with the Ringling Museum of Art as a venue for those who may not be familiar with this gem. Its story begins nearly a century ago, with the circus impresario and his beloved wife's shared love for Sarasota, Italy and art. Design and décor of the historical venue speaks for itself and is must on your check list if you are even considering a destination wedding of your own. As the sun sets over the Bay off the Terrace of Ca D'zan the lights of Sarasota and Longboat Key illuminate the night along with a sky full of stars. It's hard not to get swept up into the atmosphere of this breathtaking setting especially with Swanky Soiree Events at the planning helm of this magical day and the beautiful blooms created by Botanica Design Studio. Blaire and Brandon's getting ready moments occurred at the nearby Westin with their bridal party. Their ceremony and reception were both held outdoors. The aisle was flanked by large floral arrangements with cherry blossom stems to add height and drama to the arrangements. A harpist played to Blaire's walk toward Brandon where he stood in front of fresh floral installments that created a gorgeous focal point. After they exchanged their vows, guests moved toward the mansion for an al fresco soiree. But as we said in the beginning for us - no glamorous Southwest Florida wedding is complete without jaw dropping photos at sunset.
