Romantic City Garden Wedding

This dreaminess out of Vancouver, Canada is proof that you don’t need a barn chic farm or estate to have a romantic city garden wedding. Imagine this concept right in the middle of a bustle city or hotel site like the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel. One look and you are instantly going to feel the magic D’Love Affair Weddings & Events and Bootah Jardin Wedding Flowers created. Part of the ethereal vibe is due in part to the soft color palette revolving around French blue and soft lavender. Yumminess. Certainly, L’Estelle Photography did not disappoint once again with her talent behind the lens – shout out too for her own role in the planning process and concept. The romance lies within each thoughtfully chosen, garden feeling detail from the tablescape and bouquet to the bride’s Willow gown by Australian designer Made With Love.

Romantic City Garden Wedding

Subtle textures and design elements are reminiscent of a watercolor painting with this romantic city garden wedding inspiration sesh. Take the beautiful tablescape with rentals from Revamp Wedding Decor, as well as the dusty blue drapes and table runner provided by Kawano Decor Designs. Lush hydrangeas and classic roses burst onto the scene to form a beautiful floral bases with summery dahlias and spray mums that are a welcomed texture, and the use of feathery limonium adds a unique touch of filler. With the use of a clean calligraphy style script, Rintzylee Designs created a custom stationery suite that complimented the tablescape perfectly. The envelope was made of transparent vellum and the address was hand written with watercolor to give it a beautiful, dreamy look. Hello Sunshine Cake Studio crafted a stunning trio of cakes with a buttercream to compliment the overall watercolor vibe and decorated them with fresh florals. French madeleines, oreo filled white chocolate pyramids and vanilla cupcakes topped with handcrafted sugar flowers were all custom made to draw more into the watercolor theme. The gorgeous “Willow” dress for the bride of the day features a plunging neckline with lovely lace appliqués. With a high slit on the skirt, it adds an element of sexiness to the gown. Makeup artist Vivian created a soft and feminine look using a pink champagne color on the lids and topped it off with purple shimmer. She then paired the entire look with a soft pink blush and matching lip color. For the hair, stylist Shermin opted for a classic and timeless undo and chose an elegant hairpiece to pull the style together.
