In the midst of summer, it is high time to rock bold colors and exotics. That's why today, we salivated over this stunner of Michelle Durpetti Events that has a Moroccan theme meets luxury wedding vibe in all its glorious vibrancy. Not only is this bold beauty opulent in décor, but the team wanted to create a transcendent experience for guests that evening that would trigger all of the senses from sound and sight to aroma with everything in between at the The Drake Hotel. With Yanni Design Studio on floral this is a dream team to pull off something so unforgettably magical in the heart of Chicago. The bride in her captivating Michal Medina gown from Dimitra's Bridal Couture with a show stopping and on theme Maria Elena Headpieces certainly dressed the part. Collin Pierson Photography captures the scene with a moody feel bringing in the sense of mystery while not losing the sense of color, texture, and fluid lines that this Moroccan theme meets luxury wedding has to offer.

Moroccan Theme Meets Luxury Wedding

Intricate details and rich hues of turquoise, orange, red, gold, pops of magenta and deep purples play together so exquisitely. It's a bold approach throughout the reception, yet Michelle Durpetti Events wanted conversation encouraged with the fun ambience surrounding them. Tablescapes glowed under candlelight with bursts of fresh floral that did not obstruct the general ability for guests to be able see and talk amongst each other. The colors and textures that come from the Middle East have always tantalized Michelle, so when the idea came up of seeking inspiration from that part of the world she knew that a Marrakech approach would be the way to go - paying homage to the former imperial city in western Morocco. Each creative partner contributed to the scene adding beautiful ideas into collaboration. The results seamlessly became a fantastically layered experience from the delicious food to the glamorous decor. It just goes to show how one should not by limited when considering a wedding theme. There are endless possibilities with a bit of imagination, especially when considering a Moroccan theme meets luxury wedding vision.
