Timeless Charleston Winter Wedding Day
This stylish couple meet in Los Angeles, but are from South Carolina and Oregon. It was important for Kristen to pay a bit of homage to their roots and love story through the overall aesthetic and theme of their wedding. How was this done exactly? Glad you asked. By combining lush greens to represent Oregon, the overall romance and charm to represent Charleston and the wildflower look to capture the Southern California vibe. With a venue that naturally offers a beautiful setting, it was easy to highlight what was already there – thus the less is more approach. The décor focus became the floral and elegant lighting. Married during an outdoor ceremony under a standout chandelier with cascading flower arrangements down each side of the elegant pergola and a reflective pool gracing the front, the peaceful setting of the courtyard is not only serene but stately. Kristen’s sophisticated bridal style certainly set the tone. Wearing a classic design by the fabulous Hayley Paige from the JLM Couture Boutique, she paired her show stopping gown with accessories by Maria Elena Headpieces & Accessories and an Erica Koesler veil that hit at the exact perfect spot on the back of her dress. Superb bridal fashion for a timeless Charleston winter wedding day! A true Southern belle with all the charm of a fairytale day.
