Rustic Charm Meets Vintage Chic Wedding Planning

Shabby chic, bohemian, vintage, rustic, Victoria style. If any of these adjectives strike your wedding-minded fancy then you are going to want to pour over this pretty little gallery from Ray of Sunshine Photography. It’s the perfect balance of rustic charm meets vintage wedding planning ideas. And it just happens to showcase the absolute breathtaking beauty of the cherry blossom season. Which, if you didn’t know, is an immediate favorite for us as it sets the Spring time mood. In the realm of the wedding world, the style of rustic charm meets vintage chic is still one of the most popular wedding styles and inspirational themes when it comes to planning a wedding day. With Lilac & Lace, fellow photographer Andrea Krout, Floral Designs by Jessi and Savannah Home Vintage created a whimsical vision of how a Victorian tea party with a touch of Alice in Wonderland elements would blend. The results are pure bliss.

Rustic Charm Meets Vintage Chic Wedding Planning

As mentioned, we were immediately drawn in by the artistic beauty of how Erin Morell of Ray of Sunshine Photography showcased the cherry blossom trees that line the driveway at the Baldwin School. A Victorian style building built in 1884 in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. We first became enchanted with Erin, who not only shoots her styled shoots, but plans them too – when she delivered an electrified boho wedding vibe amongst a Zinnia flower filled farmland that was nothing short of vibrant magic to us. She has an eye for Mother Nature’s insane beauty, without a doubt. For this rustic charm meets vintage chic wedding planning concept they used vintage decor and tied in Victorian elements. A striking color combination of coral and pastel blue create a charming tablescape with delicate flowers, Victorian china – note the cherry blossom pattern details. Lace is used as a table runner and to wrap the wooden chairs – a must fabric for all things vintage. Distressed elements add to the antiquity along with sweet birdcages filled with fresh blooms. Of course, one of the highlights for us are the mix and match bridal party shots with their parasols complimenting the rustic charm meets vintage wedding planning concept and bringing it full circle. For a stand out style the bride is wearing a show stopping Matthew Christopher gown.
