As a wedding blogger, Facebook's recent announcement on their new dating match feature, that will take on the likes of Tinder and OkCupid, comes as no surprise. Not when we've featured time and time again brides and grooms who met on the platform boasting 2.2 billion monthly active users. But let's be clear - Facebook's intent is for "real, long-term relationships - not just for hookups," as Mark Zuckerberg joked onstage during the company's F8 developer conference. For this adorable couple, that's where their own happily ever after began. But, let's fast forward to this gorgeous day! One with a garden ceremony on the grounds of the Castle Hill Resort and Spa in Vermont with an undeniably jaw dropping tented reception. Katelyn and John wanted to create a romantic and elegant getaway vibe for their guests as many traveled in for the celebration. Flowers were the main focal point of their decor since the tent was white and simple. The tables had high and low centerpieces of mixed floral with gold and blush candles. Every detail from the sweetheart table, tent entrance and cake table were decorated with flowering branches to give the space extra attention. Of course, we can't gush enough about Katelyn's gorgeous A-line Kenneth Winston gown with dramatic back glam accented with pearls and crystal beads. Katelyn admits to being pretty nervous as her dress wasn't what anyone would have expected - especially her groom. Many anticipated her wearing a more fitted dress, but her classic bridal style was that of a princess and everyone agreed. Not to go without mention are the special Star Wars themed socks for the groom's party. The groomsmen wore storm troopers, her dad was Chewbacca, and her father-in-law was R2D2. Of course, John donned Darth Vader.
