Spain Destination Luxury Wedding

Laura and Rene live in Spain and wanted to marry in the country they now call home. After seeing luxury wedding planner, Jane Riddell, in action at a family member's own wedding their choice in a planner was easy. Guests flew in from all over the world for their Spain destination luxury wedding and were treated to an entire weekend celebrating their love for one another. They chose the Castilla Termal Monasterio de Valbuena which is situated in the heart of Ribera del Duero. The monastery stands tall above the picturesque landscape with its impressive architecture, rich in history with beautiful carvings and artwork throughout. The perfect backdrop for Planned for Perfection and Paula Rooney Flowers to start working their magic. The celebration began with an informal Spanish themed welcome party, where Paella and tapas was served, sangria flowed and Spanish music echoed around the monastery. The wedding day itself was a truly breathtaking and romantic day with the entire bridal party looking as if they walked off a Hollywood movie set! The turrets of the monastery walls were adorned with cascading florals for the outside ceremony. In the afternoon sun, guests were given personalized sunglasses, monogrammed fans and bottles of ice cold water - no detail left to chance. The cloisters were dressed in the brides favorite color - melding stunning shades of pink with gold accessories. On each place setting sat designer perfume favors - Chloe for the ladies and Cartier aftershave for the gentlemen. And then there was Elizabeth's Cake Emporium amazing nine tier wedding cake that sat on a bed on hydrangeas. True eye candy. As if that isn't enough. The following day, a farewell white party BBQ was planned for guests by the pool to celebrate the end of a wonderful weekend. A sendoff that included a sushi table, popcorn, ice cream and, of course, a DJ that had everyone dancing from late afternoon until the early hours at this Spain luxury destination wedding weekend. We are sure everyone took a huge nap once landing back home revisiting the fabulous memories made and celebrating Laura and Rene happily ever after.
