St George's the Regency style room at The Lanesborough was the venue for this dreamy red and gold Valentine wedding inspired shoot. Luxury wedding and event planner, Audrey Ametis of Audrey Ametis Weddings, the brains behind the shoot, envisioned a beautiful bride with a love for color and opulence getting married on one of the most romantic days of the year. The very talented Miriam of Miriam Faith Floral Design used velvety deep red roses, rannunculi, anemones, carnations and greenery to create a beautiful tablescape runner of cascading florals. For the ceremony, she created a carpet of red flower heads and a pair of dome shaped arrangements painstakingly made with hundreds of red roses displayed on pedestals either side of the aisle. As red is an intense colour that is packed with emotion, Audrey carefully selected and layered different hues of red and gold in the flatware, cutlery, crystal, chairs and damask linen cleverly using textures and contrast.

The table styled to perfection, was completed with the addition of very cute tiered cookies in gift boxes, made by Lisa of Little Fancies and heavenly scented candles from Rachel Vosper. Elizabeth Solaru of Elizabeth's Cake Emporium supplied the edgy and vibrant cakes and cupcakes. The trio of cakes included a 7-tier show stopper cake in two shades of red, trimmed with gold. An innovative torn paper design, it included the use of actual edible sugar sheets featuring love poems. Elizabeth also handcrafted deep red sugar roses and edible gold leaves which set off the design beautifully. The other two cakes were a crackle cake topped with gold chocolate shards and red roses and a 4-tier cake in red featuring a marbled tier and a tier doted with strips of 24 carat gold leaf. The beautiful bride's hair was coiffed to perfection by Errol Douglas MBE. He created very soft and loose waves for the elegant tiara worn by the model. His team of make artists headed by Emily Burrill expertly applied natural make up gave her a fresh, dewy look. Our bride wore a dress from the aptly named Valentini Collection by J'aton from The Wedding Club. The asymmetrical deep V neck ruffle dress featured a delicate glitter spun web like fabric and 3D floral lace. The awesome ruby red jewelled shoes were supplied by Emmy London and the magnificent engagement ring and matching wedding band was from Mayfair Jewellers. We can all agree that this bold Valentine's Day wedding inspiration shoot is one to set the pulse racing on Valentine's Day.
