What would be a better place for a romantic elopement than an enchanting castle on a Tuscan hill, surrounded by the picturesque vineyards, olive trees, and sunflower fields? Well, we believe that not much can compare.
Therefore, we decided that our shoot should take place at Castello Banfi, a luxury resort and producer of the famous red wine Brunello di Montalcino, located in the heart of Tuscany.
We wanted to convey the feeling of majesty and splendor of the local nature, the rich history of the castle, and the timeless beauty of a classical style.
But we also wanted to show a happy modern couple, one that thoroughly enjoys each other’s company and is genuinely in love.
Our story starts by showcasing the beauty of Tuscany, charting our travels toward the castle. We drive through a striking cypress alley which leads up to the impressive castle, whose grandeur becomes more and more evident as we approach. Finally, we get inside.
Then, there are the lovely getting ready photos, capturing both, the bride and the groom, as well as the charming classic accessories and a couture Pronovias dress. Once the bride and groom are dressed at separate locations, and then the groom has to wait for his bride as she approaches. The excitement builds up toward the emotional, magical First Look moments when the couple finally comes together.
Then, we show the bride and groom arriving at their ceremony, followed by the intimate exchange of vows and rings. The ceremony takes place in a beautiful garden on the castle's property which has breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves.
After, it is back to the castle for a celebratory dinner. The couple just cannot resist capturing their joyous moment, and takes a few selfies on an iPhone!
We then let them go and enjoy the beautiful orchards and share a few special moments at sunset.
At this point, we leave them to experience what they want most of all: to be together, just the two of them, surrounded by incredible nature and brimming with love.
