Estate Garden Destination Wedding at Il Borro
What is not to love about a destination wedding in Italy’s beloved countryside? The sun’s golden glow – ideal for that al fresco feast – rolling hills, the stunning architecture. The list goes on and on. What we love most about this stunner is that Jacqueline and Kareem capitalized on these trademark features of the region bringing out the Old World charm in abundance. Il Borro is a magnificent Relais Chateaux estate in Tuscany, owned by the Ferragamo family and is one of our favorite venues, offering so much potential for a and a wedding photographer. In the estate, there is a medieval village carefully restored maintaining its charm and the little church that was used for Jacqueline and Kareem’s catholic ceremony. Il Borro also has a luxurious period villa overlooking manicured Italian gardens. The Villa hosted the aperitifs and reception of this glamorous couple with spectacular fireworks at the end of the evening. The elegant terrace was beautifully decorated and precious chandeliers were hanging on top of the sumptuous table adding a magical touch to the festive atmosphere. Kareem was very passionate about an Italian wine called Amarone and a special year was served with the main course by professional sommeliers. A famous pianist flew from London to serenade the couple during dinner and accompany a great singer while the couple had their first dance. At the end of the evening, the party started when a superstar DJ from Canada invited all the guests on the dance floor. See what we mean with an estate garden destination wedding at Il Borro – beyond that fairytale dream as a little girl with one swoon-worthy moment after another!
