This little beauty out of British Columbia takes all the best reasons to have a wedding during the season that Mother Nature’s own prettiness is on display and amplifies it mega fold. A perfectly elegant outdoor Fall wedding in October that comes with a dose of Halloween glam. Tara Peach Photography has the pix to prove. Maybe the Halloween angle might be a stretch, but we do spy golden skulls in Whisk Cake Company’s budding stunner that is so unique it made us do a double take. We also love a bride who knows not to skimp on the floral budget. From the ceremony to the reception, Classic Creations Floral Design was giving permission to go all out and that they did with the planning direction of Defining Décor and White Orchid Wedding Consulting.
Elegant Outdoor Fall Wedding in October
Bobbi and Justin had a certain theme in mind for their big day. And it speaks volumes. They wanted the Okanagan Valley scenery under the beauty of Autumn’s colors to play a big part. To play off what Mother Nature lent to this elegant outdoor Fall wedding in October, Bobbi chose a color palette of gold, navy and white. Rich, contrasting and sophisticated. She and Justin had an idea of what they wanted for décor, but even they were spellbound when they saw how it all came together. Bobbi said, “these individuals took basic ideas and turned them in pure romance, class and over the top gorgeousness.” A resounding testimony. She also claims she would chose flowers over chocolates any day. The advice she was given by other brides was to not splurge on floral as “no one remembers them anyway.” Not the case! She exclaims they were total wrong and were absolutely what made her day so special. From all white accented with greenery, her floral amped up the richness and elegance she was striving for. From seductive bouquets to her centerpieces and ceremony arch, you can see just how important a role the floral played.
