When a stunning intimate private estate wedding checks all the boxes, like Mediterranean Revival architecture, an Alon Livné White bride and love emanating from every image captured by Kelsea Holder, we know it is going to provide some fabulous inspiration for brides-to-be. The Paramour Estate’s beautiful interior quickly became the inspiration behind the bride’s décor theme with its rich colors and eclectic museum-quality collection. Working with Center of Attention Events and Emblem Flowers throughout the planning process, a vintage vibe reminiscent of what the original estate owners may have chosen in the 1920’s was created. Blending beautifully with Asian touches to honor Chris’ Taiwanese heritage and paying homage to Shawn’s childhood years growing up in Hong Kong. But, it’s Shawn’s smile and Chris’ adoring gaze at his bride that draw you in to this stunning intimate private estate wedding.
Stunning Intimate Private Estate Wedding
The Paramour Estate is a legendary four-acre property sitting high above the Moreno Highland in Silver Lake with breathtaking views of surrounding Los Angeles and well-known dating back to the golden age of Hollywood. Because Shawn and Chris had a relatively small guest count, they strove for an overall feel that would make their guests feel as if they were attending an intimate dinner party with décor reminiscent of what the original owners silent film star Antonio Moreno and his wife, oil heiress Daisy Canfield. They selected décor pieces and rental as well as their color palette to compliment, rather than clash with the estate’s natural character. Working with the existing jewel-toned color scheme throughout, added touches of black, blush and gold were used to accent. Lush garlands and clusters of romantic votives were placed on the long rectangular wooden dining tables, complete with Gatsby-inspired tablescape settings and crystal stemware. Vintage couches and accent pieces were carefully selected for the lounge areas. They wanted the beautiful arched window as their ceremony backdrop, where Emblem Flowers created a ground level half-moon altar with white delphiniums to define the space. All of the floral arrangements were executed flawlessly, having that simple and effortless “picked from the garden” appearance. Shawn exclaims that, “Our wedding planner, Center of Attention Events, and vendors were the ultimate dream team, and all of the design elements came together even better than we imagined. We feel so fortunate to have worked with such talented and creative people who understood our vision and made it such a stunning reality!” If that is not a resounding endorsement, we don’t know what is!
