We love a good fairytale. And let's face it, thanks to growing up on Disney and their timeless classics with happily ever after endings, many girl's wedding fantasies have been brought to life. Disney theme weddings are a thing and always on trend. With the upcoming release of Beauty and the Beast, we are certain this "tale as old as time" will spark come fresh 2017 Disney fairytale wedding ideas this season. An inspired editorial shoot based on the hit classic with an elopement twist and the Darlington House library in San Diego, CA, as the backdrop. As a romantic at heart and lover of books, Belle is elegant, charming and witty. And as a character who wore various outfits to the castle, it presented the opportunity to showcase various gowns from Mary Me Bridal - most notably a show-stopping ball gown where she shared her first dance with her Beast. Designer and planner Events by Cassie draws us in with a variety of elements known from the film including candelabras, clocks, roses and stained glass. Rustic elements reflecting Belle's past with modern, elegant details were intermixed into the tablescapes and scene at the Darlington House. Details in every nook and cranny. The elaborate table décor with SWD Florals creations of red rose arrangements highlight the gold rimmed chargers complimenting vintage plates set for notable guests from the movie. Inspired by the elaborate golden ball gown and first dance, Belle is graced in a gorgeous white ball gown with 3D texture at the bodice and a full skirt meant to twirl in on the dance floor. Their groom sported facial hair to portray him as the Beast wearing a fitted blue suit with red to symbolize the magic of the rose.
