This beautiful Barcelona destination wedding is elegant, relaxed and our kind of perfect. The romantic Mediterranean city is the perfect backdrop for the Swedish couple with stunning views of the beach and city. Along with Pearl Sandals helping plan the wedding, they pulled off the ultimate lovefest complete with a Rosa Clara gown fit for a princess captured by Richard Hadley Photography. Transported by limousine and a Ferrari the couple drove through the palm tree covered streets to arrive at the Tibidabo Cathedral del Sagrat Cor located on the summit of Mount Tibidabo, with a panorama view of the city below.

Barcelona Destination Wedding

Robin proposed to Sanja at the Tibidabo amusement park in Barcelona two years ago. With the memories of this special occasion it is no wonder that the couple chose to exchange their vows there too. After the ceremony, the newlyweds released doves to symbolize their new journey together. The reception took place at the renowned 5-star W Barcelona hotel with a romantic theme of pastel colors. The décor boasted oversized arrangements of fresh white roses, balloons, Swarovski crystals and 400 mother of pearls to heighten the ambiance and luxurious feel. The highlight of the evening came when Robin surprised his bride with a concert by Swedish rappers, Medina. Music was certainly a common thread through the entire day. A part from the Medina's private show, Robin and Sanja had beautiful classic music, a gypsy band and Ibiza Blue Marlin entertaining guests on the terrace. During the ceremony a Spanish guitar strummed outside the church while guests waited to enter and inside a classical string quartet.

Bridal Style

Sanja's bridal style sung with details in the two gowns she wore. For her ceremony she floated down the aisle in a Rose Clara fit and flare gown with a striking veil trailing behind her making for a picturesque princess bride. The reception she changed into a Pronovias gown, perfect for dancing the night away. Even Robin had two looks for the day wearing a dark suit for the ceremony and a white one for the party.
