Enter the scene of a romantic outdoor Arizona wedding in Scottsdale that when you break down the design components you discover a day planned to total perfection. Behind the lens is Amy and Jordan, and these images are like gorgeous works of art. The subject matter certainly helped as Sabrina and David's wedding day is a pure delight packed with fun elements and impressive prettiness - truly - a beer burro! How much more fun can a couple or wedding day be?

The Beginning

Sabrina and David meet in July 2012 at Toby Keith's Bar & Grill. David was there with his fraternity brother, who happens to be Sabrina's brother. With a little Fireball courage, Sabrina programmed her number into David's phone with a slight, "you should ask me dinner" remark - and two days later they had the first date at the Old Adobe Mission. This spot became part of David's proposal nearly three years later, after first asking Sabrina's father for permission. While walking from the local watering hole to a Dodgers' spring training game, they passed the Old Adobe Mission (it's next door to The Mission and down the street from their first apartment). After stopping in front of the Old Adobe Mission, he dropped to his knee and exclaimed he "knew without a sliver of a doubt that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her."

Outdoor Arizona Wedding

Their wedding had all the spirit of the Southwest by incorporating woods with ivories, pale blushes and a champagne color palette. The floral created by Lux Florist & Event brought in lots of greenery for the day in the bouquets and arrangements with the use of eucalyptus thread throughout. Working along side her planner Whitney Lewis Fancher with Some Like it Classic, Sabrina was involved in the overall decision process for each and every detail leading up to her wedding day. Every moment blended seamlessly with the open sky and sprawling desert views of Camelback Mountain from the Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia were the ceremony and reception took place.

Romantic and Fun Touches

Sabrina and David's main goal for their wedding day was for their guests to have fun from the moment they arrived until the moment they left. We would say "mission accomplished." Instrumental versions of classic rock songs were played during their prelude, custom koozies were handed out and for an element we have not seen before - they brought in a beer burro to compliment the corn hole games during the cocktail hour. Sabrina and David incorporated so many personal touches into their day to truly personalize the wedding. She surprised David with a watch on the and he had equally surprised her with a blue sapphire ring to wear as her something blue down the aisle. Of course, this couple wrote their own vows but before the ceremony she gifted David with an autograph from Tom DeLonge (Blink 182) - his all-time favorite band. They also infused special calligraphy details into the day, including a signature drink sign which has a cat at the bottom of it to pay homage to their cat, Frisco.

Ohh and Aww Moments

They both agree that the first look was the best part of their wedding day. Sabrina wore a Tara Keely gown with a mermaid silhouette and timeless veil that flowed behind her. Sabrina summarizes the moment best by saying: "Anyone who knows David knows that he is not a crier, so to see him be that emotional and actually cry when he saw me, was something that I will never ever forget."

As we mentioned, with a stunning bride, dapper groom and every detail pin-worthy to say the least, this wedding delivered some serious ooh and aww moments for us!
