A Storybook Love
He first popped the question to Prisca at the mere age of nine when her father purchased his first exotic car. When her dad drove up in the new sports car she called her closest friends, Cash and their mutual friend who lived next door, to join in the excitement. Upon seeing the car, Cash turned to Prisca and asked: "Will you marry me?" She, of course, said no - she was shy in her early years and didn't want to reveal that she had a major schoolgirl crush on him. They remained great friends through their school years and began dating their senior year. However, college led them to different states. They maintained their relationship knowing that their love was one out of a storybook. Eight years later, her prince proposed again on a trip to Italy - she said yes this time.
Cherished Moments
Prisca's parents did not have a big wedding due to finances at the time and together opted for a marriage at the local city hall. With this top of mind, it was ever important to Prisca that she create a dream day that her entire family would cherish. Her mom helped with every decision and detail. She also wore a beautiful formal gown with a floral bouquet. Even Prisca and Chase's grandparents participated - as the flower girls and ring bears! It was one of her favorite memories of the day, knowing that her mother was finally able to have something of her own too. Only topping this moment was her father's reaction as he escorted her down the aisle. Overcome with pure joy "giving his daughter away" to Cash. It was the first time Prisca had ever seen her dad cry and she was immediately taken back with a loss for words.
Breathtaking Beauty
When planning their dream wedding with Weddings By Cassandra, Prisca envisioned a soft, elegant ambience. She wanted it to be romantically sweet and chose a color palette that would in essence bask her guests in the love, joy and happiness that she and Cash share. Being very spiritual, Prisca incorporated décor that would represent and translate her beliefs throughout the ceremony and reception. White Lilac's breathtaking floral artistry graced an unbelievable ceremony canopy with white drapes, lush blooms and a hanging chandelier. An abundance of cream, blush and peach floral with white orchids created two high pedestal floral arrangements. Opening up to her walk down the aisle were floral gates that remained closed to guests until the official seating with a sign that appropriately read, "This is how our story begins." For Prisca's modern day Cinderella moment, she arrived by a horse drawn carriage complete with a black steed and coachman wearing a top hat.
Elegant Fairytale Ambience
The tented reception was equally and insanely stunning. They had a floral wall made from the same blush and white floral of the ceremony and Classic Rental Party hung chandeliers from every point. Frosted Cakery added their own masterpiece to the fairytale wedding with a five-tier gold, floral and crystal embellished work of art.
