Strictly Weddings is warming up your winter with the beautiful Palm Beach destination wedding tale of Devon and Tom, eloquently photographed by the award-winning team and newest Luxe List partner, Adagion Studio. With love and personality driving every aspect of the planning and execution, this winter wedding has best in sunshine, style, location, and inspiration.

Let's start from the very beginning. Once upon a time in Paris, Devon eagerly joined then-boyfriend Tom on a short business trip, enjoying the opportunity to get away and museum hop for a few days. "On our last night and after a magnificent dinner, we were walking along the Pont Alexandre III Bridge, overlooking the Seine River and admiring the city. [Tom] stopped precisely at a point where the Eiffel Tower, in all of its glory, was in full view. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out the most beautiful ring I have ever seen, and got on a knee to ask me to become his wife."

Romantic inspiration begets romantic inspiration. Devon explains, "It was a dream from the onset of our engagement to get married at the Mar-a-Lago Club. Tom and I have spent countless Sunday afternoons bike riding around Palm Beach and admiring the historic estates. Our shared love for architecture and history brought us to Mar-a-Lago, a cherished site during our rides."

The historic Mar-a-Lago Club, Palm Beach's crown jewel, exudes an air of luxury perfect for the ultimate wedding. "Mar-a-Lago's ballroom is so rich with detail, so ornate and vividly opulent, that I thought it was very important to not take away from, or overly complicate, an already magnificently designed space," explains the bride.

The couple's talented Wedding Planner and Floral and Event Designer, Jose Graterol, brought to life the bride's aesthetic goals and decorative strategy: "clean-lined elegance with a sophisticated spirit." With expert finesse and attention to luxurious detail (and no shortage of flowers), Graterol created a showpiece wedding perfectly reflecting the couple's unique style. The bride recalls, "For as far as the eye could see, the ballroom's wall of mirrors created an infinity effect on the flowers. The simplicity of the white flower arrangements and pure, unadorned glass vases created a perfect contrast to the many layers of detail including custom-made linens and napkins, mirrored table tops, and the grand walls of the Rococo-style ballroom."

Yet despite all the glamour, the quiet sanctity of the ceremony proved to be the bride's favorite wedding moment. "Walking down the grand aisle with my father and seeing Tom's kind, patient, loving face awaiting me was the happiest moment of my life. All the pre-wedding nerves had instantly disappeared, and as I ascended the stage and looked into his eyes, we were the only two people there."
